Pause Your Server and Come Back Later
We offer a Server Pause product if you want to pause your server to take a break from the game and return later. When you pause your server, you cannot start or join your server. You will only have access to the files for your server through the AleForge Panel. The Server Pause does have a cost because your server still uses storage on our servers, and storage is, unfortunately, not free. Even though there is a cost, it is much lower than paying for memory and CPU, which are the most expensive resources on our hardware.
Server Pause Pricing

All paused servers will be billed on the first of each month. 80% of our customer servers will only cost $1.00 per month. Most game servers use less storage than you would think.
How to Pause Your Server
- Login to the client area
Click the Services -> My Services dropdown
- Click the service you want to pause
Select Upgrade/Downgrade
Choose the Server Pause product
- Complete the upgrade process
If you do not see the Server Pause product, feel free to contact support, who will be happy to assist you in getting your service paused.
Unpause your Service
- Login to the client area
Click the Services -> My Services dropdown
- Click the service you want to unpause
- Select Upgrade/Downgrade
- Choose your desired game and plan
- Complete payment to restore your service
