How Do I Set a Password On My Palworld Server?

Currently, there is a bug changing how passwords work on servers. See below for the workaround

  1. Navigate to the Startup page of your server
  2. Change the Password variable
  3. Restart your server

"Incorrect Password Entered" Workaround

If you are presented with an error upon joining your passworded server that the incorrect password was entered when you were not prompted for a password you can try this

  1. Open Palworld and go to Play Multiplayer
  2. Click the Community Servers Button

  3. Scroll down until you find any server with a lock next to it

  4. Enter the password for your server here


  1. Hit OK. You will be told that the password does not match
  2. When it asks "Do you want to connect to this server?" Select No
  3. Connect to your server normally
